On behalf of the Woodlawn High School PTO, I would like to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year! The WHS PTO has gotten off to a great start this year as we rebuild our relationship with the teachers and parents. Thank you to those who have already joined and I encourage others of you to join the PTO. Our goal is to provide the administration, staff and teachers with the support and assistance they need to successfully educate our children. Your membership dues, time and talents are greatly needed. Membership dues are $10 for the entire family and $5 for teachers.
As a member of the PTO, you will receive a monthly newsletter containing general information about high school, and you will receive specific information about things going on at WHS. We will notify you of important dates of events; spotlight our administrators, teachers and students; and provide you with tips for a successful high school experience as a parent.
We will have 3 general meetings for the year, and monthly board meetings held on the 1st Thursday of each month. You are invited to attend and participate in these meetings.
