All senior pictures: Drape, Tux, and baby pictures must be submitted to the yearbook staff or Mrs. Evans no later than Friday, Nov. 20th. After that date, pictures will not be published.

Aspire
WHS teacher. Wendell Evers, received $300 in a contest sponsored by the developers for having 155 ASPIRE graduates, the 2nd highest number per district from across the nation. (At the time of press, there are over 2,000 ASPIRE pilot participants and 628 ASPIRE graduates.)
Coach Evers said, “ The long term impact is yet to be seen, but the short term effect is the buzz that this program has created. Kids are talking to peers, parents, siblings, and teachers about the information they received from ASPIRE.”

We recently entered into a unique arrangement between our school and Special Olympics Louisiana to offer ScholarWisetm: A $120,000 Scholarship Trust Giveaway. Benefiting Special Olympics Louisiana, ScholarWise gives students and families in <greater New Orleans/greaterSouthwest Louisiana/greater Baton Rouge> the chance to win a $120,000 scholarship trust, which may be used to pay for any qualified educational expense for learners of all ages: from pre-K to post-grad to adult continuing education. Funds may also be used to retire student loans.
As a Premier Partner School, we earn $25 from every ScholarWise ticket purchased by you, a family member, or friend of our academic community. Simply provide our school name on the order form or give it to the representative who takes your call. This means new funds to support our programs, add new resources, and deliver quality education. Net proceeds from the program support the worthy mission of Special Olympics Louisiana.
