My teaching philosophy is that equal opportunity does not mean identical opportunity. I am a firm believer that all children can learn and have the ability to be life-long learners. My art classroom is one of the few places where my students will have freedom to be more intuitive.
I am a graduate of Louisiana State University in Art Education, certified K-12. For more than fourteen years of my life I have devoted to learning the components of art. At a collegiate level I have experienced using different forms of art media and the pedagogy to integrate them into successful lessons for your child (ren). I have traveled far and wide to learn more about art and what it entails to make myself a better teacher for my students.
