Coach McGrew and the Tara Kings of the Diamond
This is Coach McGrew's third year at Tara. He is the head baseball coach and assistant football and basketball coach.
He graduated from Baker High School in 1983. He graduated from Arkansas State University in 1988. He earned a Bachelor's in Physical Education and he minored in Health and Nutrition. In addition, he played baseball at ASU. In 2001, he received his Master's in Administration and Supervision from Southern University.

Coach Grantham and the Trojans Tip-Off Crew
Coach Grantham is the head boys basketball coach and the ninth grade football coach. He has been a part of the Tara family for twenty-three years and has over thirty years of coaching experience. While not at Tara Coach Grantham enjoys spending time with his wife of twenty-three years and their nine year old son, Grant.

Coach Jackson and the Tara Diamond Dolls
Coach Barry Jackson brings fourteen years of coaching experience to the Trojan staff. He has been at Tara for the past ten years and currently coaches Football, Softball, and Volleyball.
Coach Jackson played reciever for the McNeese State football team for two years while earning his Bachelor's degree. He then went on to Southern University to earn his Master's Degree. Coach Johnson and the Tara Pearls of the Hardwood
Coach Donald Johnson, Jr. has been on the Tara faculty for nine years. He is the head Girl's Basketball and Girl's Track Coach. He is the assistant baseball and football coach.
He graduated from Glen Oaks High School in 1990. He is also a graduate of Louisiana State University. In 1994, Coach Johnson earned his Bachelor's degree.
Coach Johnson began his coaching career at Jehovah Jireh Christian Academy where he coached for eight years before joining the Trojan family. Coach Johnson and his wife Navonne have three beautiful children: Trey, Sierra, and Brennen.

Coach Miller
Mr. Miller has been the Tara softball assistant coach for the past four years. He is a graduate of Morgan City High School and Louisiana College. Mr. Miller played basketball in high school and currently teaches Algebra one. While not at Tara, Mr. Miller enjoys spending time with his two children, nine year old Noah and seven year old Abigail.
