If you have recently moved to Baton Rouge or you are transferring from a private school, you will need several documents in order to register at Tara High School.

ALL STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE:
1.      School Registration Form
2.      Withdrawal/Drop slip from from school with grades & (%)percentage
3.      Copy of last report card (8th & 9th grade) or Transcript (10th - 12th)
4.      Course selection form
5.      Two Proofs of Residence

NON-EBR & OUT OF PARISH/STATE TRANSFER STUDENTS ONLY:
6.      Copy of Birth Certificate
7.      Copy of Social Security Card
8.      Copy of Immunization Record

Scheduling And academic advisement

*It is mandatory that all students select courses that are required for graduation, as well as courses related to their chosen career majors.
*Students are expected to keep track of any courses that have not successfully completed.
*Schedule changes may not be made after the first 10 days of the semester.
*School Counselors are here to advise students and parents about important academic decisions, but ultimately, students are responsible for planning and maintaining their academic progress toward graduation.
