East Baton Rouge Parish School System Announces 2011–2012 Principals of the Year - January 9, 2012

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is pleased to announce the Principals of the Year for the 2011–2012 School Year.

Cynthia Lange was selected as the Elementary Principal of the Year. She is the principal of Glen Oaks Park Elementary School. Shelly Colvin, principal of Woodlawn Middle School, was selected as Principal of the Year for Middle Schools; and Nan McCann, Principal of Baton Rouge Magnet High School, was selected as Principal of the Year in the High School Division.

“I congratulate all of our principals,” said School System Superintendent John Dilworth. “All three principals are deserving of this honor and I appreciate their leadership and commitment to our children.”

The three principals will be honored at a reception prior to the January 19 School Board meeting.
