| School Board Members Host Reception for New Superintendent

On one of his many visits recently to the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, John Dilworth was honored at a School Board reception May 7 at the Table Is Bread Restaurant. The event was sponsored by Curt Soderberg of CSRS/Garrard Program Management and hosted by East Baton Rouge School Board members Jay Augustine (vice president), Darryl L. Robertson and Tarvald Smith. Community and local education leaders were invited to meet Dilworth, who will become the new superintendent in July. He replaces Superintendent Charlotte Placide, who retired June 30.
