EBR Teachers Win Grant Awards - 01/14/2005

Congratulations to the following teachers/schools for winning Best Buy's Te@ch Awards:

Shan Davis - Belaire High School
Jo Anne Garland - Bernard Terrace Elementary
Danielle Graziano - Broadmoor High School
Doug Madden - Capitol High School
Christina Knight - Greenville Elementary
Freda Homes White - Sherwood Middle School
Renee Armstrong at Southeast Middle School
Amber Brown - Tara High School
Margaret Wardell - Westdale Middle Academy

Best Buy's Te@ch program recognizes teachers and schools who are improving instruction through integrating interactive technology into the curriculum. A total of 24 Louisiana teachers/schools, including the 8 named above, received this highly competitive award. A complete list of winners can be found at the "Community Relations" page of the Best Buy website. Winning schools will receive a package from Best Buy containing a $2500 Gift Card!

Guidelines for the next round of Te@ch Awards will be posted to the Best Buy and EBR Grants websites in April 2005.
