Two Glasgow Middle Students Make High ACT Scores

Although they are just enrolled at Glasgow Middle School program at this point, two students are achieving very high ACT scores. Mason Guillot, a seventh grader in the Gifted Program at Glasgow Middle School, recently scored a 35 out of a possible 36 on the Math portion of the ACT exam. His total ACT score was a 28. He currently is enrolled in Advanced Math at Glasgow and he will receive high school credit. Next year, as an eighth grader, Guillot will take Calculus. He has maintained an A average during his two years at Glasgow. In addition, he is a two-year veteran of the school’s MathCounts Team and has joined the Quiz Bowl Team. Jeffrey Liu, an eighth grader in the Gifted and Talented programs at the school, scored a perfect ACT score of 36 on the Reading Portion of the test last spring. He was honored with the Duke Talent Search Talent Identification Program (TIP) full scholarship for summer studies in the spring, as well. He is in the 99.9th percentile of Talent Search participants.
