Groundbreaking for 2 New Middle Schools - 02/23/2005

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System celebrated another milestone for the children with two Groundbreaking ceremonies; Southeast Area Middle and McKinley Middle. More than 150 community members joined East Baton Rouge Parish School Board Members and Superintendent Charlotte Placide in the celebration.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Southeast Area Middle School was held Wednesday, Feb 23, 2005 at 9:30 at the Old Woodlawn site.   Project Overview

The Groundbreaking Ceremony for new McKinley Middle School was held on Friday Feb. 25, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. on the old McKinley Middle School site. Currently, McKinley Middle students are being housed at Capitol Middle.  Project Overview
