Three High Schools Win Awards At JROTC Competitions - December 12, 2008


From drilling to shooting rifles, high school cadets went head to head during last month’s Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) drill, rifle and color guard competitions at Tara High School. JROTC programs from high schools throughout the East Baton Rouge Parish School System were represented at the competitions.

Awards included:
Overall Drill Competition Winner – Tara High School
Color Guard Competition – Scotlandville Magnet High School
Rifle Competition – Woodlawn High School

The next set of competitions will be held Saturday, December 13, at Robert E. Lee High School. For more information, call (225) 226-7608.
