New School Board Member Sworn In for District 11 Seat - Oct 30, 07

New East Baton Rouge Parish School Board Member Randy Lamana was sworn in during a ceremony at Northeast Elementary School on Tuesday, October 30.  Lamana will serve as the board member from district 11 after winning the election on October 20. 

Lamana has worked as a volunteer in East Baton Rouge Parish schools for over 17 years.  The majority of the time, he served at Northeast Elementary and Northeast High Schools.  Lamana was a member of the School Improvement Teams at both schools.  His three children are all graduates of Northeast High School.  Lamana is a 1974 graduate of Baton Rouge High School.
