Event to Provide Middle School Info on Gifted and Talented Programs

Focus on Middle School, an event showcasing the Gifted and Talented students and programs at middle schools, will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, at the Instructional Resource Center, 1022 S. Foster Dr. (next to the School System’s Central Office).
Sponsored by the Baton Rouge Association for Gifted and Talented Students, the public is invited to the event to get an overall view of the Gifted and Talented programs at Glasgow, Westdale and Woodlawn middle schools. Administrative representatives and students will present information about their schools. Parents interested in further information regarding Gifted, Talented, Scholastic Academy and/or Great Scholars programs at the middle school level are invited to attend.
