EBR Teachers Receive Outstanding Computer Using Educator Awards - Nov 27, 06

, Baton Rouge Center for Visual and Performing Arts, for receiving the honor of Elementary Teacher of the Year from Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators (LACUE).

Alicia Vidaurrreta
, Broadmoor High School, received the High School Teacher of the Year from LACUE. These awards are given to educators are using computer-based technology in an innovative fashion.

 

Alan BerthelotAlan Berthelot, Sherwood Middle, and Fran Fransen, Istrouma High, should also be commended for coming in second place in the LACUE annual lesson plan contest. The lessons must contain innovative use of technology by the students that cross curriculum boundaries and build logical connections between 2 or more content areas.

Each will receive $100.00. These individuals will be recognized at a special awards luncheon at the LACUE conference.
