Turtle Teaches What to Do in Chemical Emergency - 09/17/2010

Earlier this month, a turtle was featured in Playmakers of Baton Rouge performances of The Wally Wise Guy Safety Tour beginning with a visit to Scotlandville Elementary School September 8.  Sponsored by the North Baton Rouge Chemical Industry Task Force (NBRCITF), it kicked off recognition of September as National Preparedness Month.  Thirty local schools in the North Baton Rouge industrial corridor saw the performances to educate students on what to do in a chemical emergency.
